WE ARE DEDICATED TO EQUITY AND JUSTICE. 

The Illinois Harm Reduction and Recovery Coalition envisions a statewide movement that eliminates stigma towards people who use drugs and upholds every individual’s sense of dignity and well-being. We are working towards shared goals and addressing the harms caused by the war on drugs

Any Positive Change List: Using less, reduction, making your bed, following through, positive support group, open/willing to seek help, accepting help, knowing resources, going to dentist or doctor, setting boundaries, drink more water, self-care, harm reduction

OUR MISSION

The Illinois Harm Reduction and Recovery Coalition works to enact community-centered and intersectional policy reforms to prevent overdose death, reduce the harms associated with substance use, improve access to treatment, promote racial equity, and advance a public health rather than criminal justice approach.
