The Illinois Harm Reduction and Recovery Coalition envisions a statewide movement that eliminates stigma against people who use drugs and upholds every individual's sense of dignity and well-being.
OUR MISSION
The Illinois Harm Reduction and Recovery Coalition works to enact community-centered and intersectional policy reforms to prevent overdose death, reduce the harms associated with substance use, improve access to treatment, promote racial equity, and advance a public health rather than criminal justice approach.
